Previously, there was no wrap of the day available on Wednesday, but McDonald’s announced a new wrap – the Katsu Chicken One in January 2025, and it remained wrap of the day Wednesday till 29 July 2025.
From 30 July 2025, McDonald’s removed the Katsu wrap and the Caesar wrap from the menu, and introduced a new wrap – The Fajita Chicken One.
In February 2026, they introduced Tikka Chicken Wrap and removed the Fajita Chicken One and the Spicy Veggie One. It should be noted that on the day of the spicy veggie one, there used to be an option of chicken one as well, but now there is no veggie option in wraps.

McDonald’s, through its diverse menu items, tries to cater for the needs and tastes of the maximum number of people. Wrap of the day also shows this, in which you get a total of three flavour wraps on different days of the week so that everyone finds one’s favourite flavour on some day of the week at a discounted price. McDonald’s Wrap of the Day Price
The regular price of each wrap varies from £3.79 to £5.29 depending upon the location of the McDonald’s branch. But you pay £2.49 in wrap of the day offer. Yes, you read it right. The price of wrap of the day is increased from £1.99 to £2.49
The meal price also varies a lot from location to location. For the medium meal, you pay an additional amount of £1.20 to £1.90, and for the large meal an additional amount of £2.00 to £2.70
You may be surprised to see such a broad range of regular prices of wraps and meals, but it is not restricted to the wraps only; it is true for almost every Maccies item. For example, you get the items at the Ludgate Hill London branch at relatively high prices, whereas the items are relatively cheaper at the Hoe Street London Branch. In short, for the actual cost of any McDonald’s item at your nearest branch, you should check the delivery app or contact that branch.

Vegetarian and Vegan Options in McDonald’s Wrap of the Day
The spicy veggie one, certified as vegan by the Vegetarian Society, used to be the best choice for both vegetarians and vegans. It included veggie dippers instead of chicken, and it was fried in a fry vat dedicated for vegan dishes. However, there is a bad news. It is no longer in the menu. You read it right, McDonalds removed it from its menu in 2026.
However, other vegetarian and vegan options are available on the menu, such as salad and balsamic dressing.

Availability:
There are over 1270 McDonald’s branches in the UK, and you can get McDonald’s wrap of the day by visiting any of these branches. Unfortunately, wrap of the day discount has not been available on delivery orders since January 2023; however, you can get any wrap delivered by paying the regular price.
Customization and Personalization Options:
I’ve good news. If you don’t like any ingredient or have some kind of allergy, you can ask not to include that particular ingredient, and thus you’ll get the wrap especially customized for you.
Brief History of Wrap of the Day:
McDonald’s started wrap of the day in the mid-2000s. Since people get different taste each day which creates a kind of curiosity, and these are available at a discounted rate, this deal soon became very popular among people of the UK. And it is still one of the most talked-about things in the McDonald’s menu.
Personal Review
Of all the wraps, I like the sweet chilly chicken one the most. My second choice was the spicy veggie one (which is no longer on the menu now), though I am not a vegetarian. I think that these wraps are a great alternative to burgers, and since I can get a different taste every day in affordable price, these have become my favourite lunch and dinner items.
There are rumours that McDonald’s may soon end the wrap of the day discount. But, keeping in view its popularity, it seems to me a little less probable. However McDonald’s keeps on changing the available wrap flavours from time to time, so it is very much possible that you don’t get your favourite wrap in the future if they replace it with a new one. (just like me who can’t have spicy veggie one now!)
